Roddy Ricch’s The Box has reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a song that was created at 6am in New York after recording multiple other records.

Having tried to link up before in the past, 30 Roc and Roddy finally connected with “The Box” and “Roll Dice”, two of the 13 tracks on Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.

Producer 30 Roc detailed that it only took 15 minutes with his producer, Squeeze to make the beat for The Box.

“All of our hits have been created in that span of time [15 minutes] because it’s me feeling the beat. I already know where I want to go with the beat, producer 30 Roc said on his production work with Squeeze. I already know who I hear on the beat. So, it normally only takes 15 minutes.”
