Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Her Label Won’t Let Her Release New Music

Megan revealed the shocking news on Instagram Live this afternoon that there’s been a disagreement with her label, 1501, that’s preventing her from releasing .

In the clip, she explained that after signing with new management under , she was enlightened on things within her label contract that should be changed. However, when she brought her concerns to 1501, things went “left.” As a result, they informed her that she cannot release new music.

Megan and fans have since started a “Free Meg” hashtag on Twitter.

This news comes after the big announcement of “Hot Girl Summer” and “Big Ole Freak” becoming RIAA-certified Platinum records.
