Before fame, Christopher Brian Bridges known famously as Ludacris was an intern and then as a DJ at Atlanta’s Hot 97.5 (now Hot 107.9) under the name “Chris Lova Lova” (snicker). Ludacris DJ’d at the station with Poon Daddy and K-Sly, he was also known for DJ’ing during Atlanta’s Freaknik at a point. The DJ promos Luda recorded was what got the attention of Timbaland, who produced Ludacris’ first local hit “Phat Rabbit.”
