Mac Miller released his debut studio album ‘Blue Slide Park’ on November 8, 2011, his older brother, Miller McCormick, designed the cover art for the 16-track album. The album was named after a part of Frick Park in Mac Miller‘s hometown Pittsburgh, known as “Blue Slide Park”.
When ‘Blue Slide Park’ released it became the first independently-distributed debut LP to go No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart since Tha Dogg Pound‘s Dogg Food in 1995.
Miller McCormick also designed the cover art for Mac Miller’s other projects; Faces, The Divine Feminine, and Live from Space.
