Pop Smoke’s Posthumous Debut Album Has an Official Release Date

Earlier this month, Pop Smoke‘s family and manager Steven Victor confirmed reports of new music from the late rapper, including his highly-anticipated debut album.

Today, the posthumous album gets an official release date for June 12.

The Brooklyn rapper was slated to the claim the summer season and carry on his reign of New York until his time was cut short during a fatal home invasion back in February.

Pop Smoke was beloved by his fans all over the world and the young rapper was just beginning to see his music career take off.

Less than a month before his death, he released his second mixtape Meet The Woo 2.

His manager was also in talks with Complex about an upcoming documentary to honor the late rapper’s life.

Pop Smoke’s name continues to carry the budding legacy he started and fans are excited to see what kind of music he was working on before he was murdered.
