Inspiration for Kanye West's “Lost In The World” came from poem he wrote for Kim
On the tenth of anniversary of Kanye West's culturally impacting album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kim Kardashian shares how a poem Kanye wrote for her, became the missing pieces for his song “Lost In The World.”
“For those that don't know the story of ‘Lost In The World' on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy…. Kanye couldn't come up with some lyrics and then realized he had them, it was what he wrote me for my 30th birthday card,” Kim said on her Instagram story. “He took the poem he wrote me and made it the song.”
“Lost In The World” features Bon Iver and a 40 second verse from Kanye. The album has reached its 10-year mark and fans are celebrating the release.
