Playboi Carti's ‘Whole Lotta Red' could earn him his first no. 1 album
Playboi Carti is on target to sale 125-135K in his opening week, which would be his first no. 1 album. His 2018 album Die Lit sold 61K in its opening week.
Reported by HitsDailyDouble, Carti is looking at an impressive opening week. Fans have been waiting over two years for him to drop Whole Lotta Red. The reviews have been mixed and have fans torn on how to feel about the body of work. Considering we're in a pandemic, and Carti's music may not hit the same as it would during — say — a Rolling Loud performance, it's hard to judge the album.
He also announced there will be a deluxe to the album; there isn't a date as of yet.
