Polo G earns his first number one album
Migos and Polo G released their respective albums, Culture III and Hall of Fame last Friday (June 11), and they’ve been contending for the number one spot. Since the beginning of last week, projections have been indicating that Polo would potentially outsell Migos in the first week.

Well, it’s now official that Polo G debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart for the first time, with HoF selling 143K album-equivalent units. Migos follows in the second spot with Culture III moving 138K album-equivalent units.
Migos followed up their album with the deluxe version just six days after the original version dropped – Thursday (June 17). The expanded version arrived with five additional songs. While it’s not officially affirmed, the deluxe was seemingly an attempt to reinforce Culture III in the quest for number one against Polo G.
