Rick Ross enters new endeavor

Maybach Music honcho Rick Ross taps into the cannabis business as he partners with Rap Snacks CEO James Lindsay and San Diego-based hemp firm Hempacco to develop Hemp Hop.

According to the Benzingo website, the new venture will produce smokables like CBD cigarettes and hemp blunt rolling papers in order to counter the tobacco industry.

“I truly believe in the health benefits of Hemp derived products,” Rozay said in a statement. “Having had my own health scares, and through my healing process, I decided I would develop a line of smokables to help others with the benefits of Hemp cannabinoids.”

Rozay has faced several health issues stemming from drug use in the past. The Florida rapper had multiple seizures in 2011 and 2018 that he blamed on codeine. This new venture will help bring awareness to people who have substance use issues.
