Dr. Dre reportedly will release the album through the Grand Theft Auto video game
Dr. Dre has been sharing photos of himself in the studio throughout the year and that only means one thing, he’s about to serve the world with new music. According to a revelation by AllHipHop, the rap mogul is releasing a new album ahead of his performance at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.
Unconfirmed reports reveal that the album will not premiere on streaming platforms at least not immediately, but will drop via Grand Theft Auto video game.

The Compton legend will be performing at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show along with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar on Feb. 13 at the SoFi Stadium and on NBC and Telemundo.
Shortly after Dre was discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in January, producer Dem Jointz hinted at the long-held Detox album by sharing a photo of himself, Dre, Trevor Lawrence Jr., The D.O.C, and others in the studio. “And we back!” Dem Jointz wrote in the caption while teasing what they were working on, “#Detox2021.”
