Kanye has plans for the house and wants to be close to his children
A source close to Ye told People magazine that he’s planning to tear down the $4.5 million house he bought across his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and their children earlier in the week. The 44-year-old rapper is planning to soon reconstruct the mansion and its purpose is to help keep him close to his four children.

“Kanye’s new house is a teardown,” an insider in Ye’s circle told People. “He only bought it for the location. It’s near Kim and the kids. He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP.”
The “Junya” rapper copped the five-bedroom and four-bathroom home located in Hidden Hills, California just across the street from where Kim lives. Ye even paid an extra $421,000 to lock the mansion.
“It will be family-friendly,” the source revealed concerning the purchase. “He wants to be able to have the kids over as much as possible. Living only in Malibu was making visits more tricky for Kanye.”
Earlier in the month, Ye did talk about his plans to become “homeless” by turning all his houses into churches and orphanages. “I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches,” he revealed to German magazine 032c. “We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.”
