Big Sean and Jhené Aiko dropped the first TWENTY88 installment back in 2016
Big Sean and Jhené Aiko's extended play release of TWENTY88 was a surprise to their fanbase. According to Sean, the label didn't want it to drop, so they put forth the effort and financial resources themselves.
Now, 6 years later, Big Sean says the second installment is being worked on. According to REVOLT, Sean went live on Instagram with Queen Naija, following the release of their new single “Hate Our Love.”

“I'm here working on [a] new album and new TWENTY88 — me and Jhené,” he told Queen Naija. “Shit, we've been working on it for a little bit… It's coming along good, though.”
The first installment peaked on the Billboard 200 at no. 5. The 8-track EP featured K-Ci & JoJo and Detail.
