His style has always been Afrocentric and positive in nature. He left the group due to some disagreements but returned a few years later for the album Foundation. He's worked with Missy Elliot, Cormega, KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Red Alert, and Parrish Smith of EPMD.
