Cardi B to drop first single from her next album
Cardi B returns with a new single, ‘'Hot Shit,'' featuring Kanye West & Lil Durk dropping this Friday (July 1). The track is produced by BanBwoi & Tay Keith, and is expected to appear on the New York rapper's sophomore album. The rapper shared a short trailer for the album on Monday (June 27) and revealed the features a few hours later.
“I'm so tired of people not doing their f*cking job correctly,'' Bardi said while talking about the song during a live stream. “I'm so tired of people just doing things their way. Just…I'm just over it, you know what I'm saying? I'm over it. I'm gonna put this record [out], if it do good, it do good. I think it's gonna do good 'cause at the end of the day, the record is amazing. I love the record. It's something that I feel like you haven't heard from me before.” She also revealed that she's been sitting on the track since 2019.
She described the record as ‘'masculine, great for the clubs.”
