JayDaYoungan was shot alongside his father
Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan was shot and killed in his hometown of Bogalusa late Wednesday, police have confirmed in a Facebook post. According to The Advocate, police responded to a shooting at the 600 Block of Supreme Avenue at 5.50 P.M where Jay, real name Javorius Tykies Scott, was targeted in a shooting along with his father Kenyatta Scott Sr.
The 24-year old rapper was rushed to Our Lady of Angeles emergency room in a helicopter where he was pronounced dead. His father is said to be in stable condition.
Jay kicked off his career in 2017 and later gained momentum with tracks like ‘'23 Island,'' ‘'Elimination,'' and ‘'Opps.''
