He's the founder of YSL which stands for Young Stoner Life after also being signed to Future and 300 Ent.

He's worked with Drake, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, and others and helped rappers Gunna and Lil baby get into the rap game. In 2022, YSL was indicted on R.I.C.O. charges and Young Thug has been in a Georgia jail since that May. He still released music from behind bars.
