After spitting and handing out incredible features throughout the summer, Pusha-T is back releasing his own music since his Grammy Nominated album Daytona. On Monday, the Virginia Beach rapper connected with Kash Doll of Detriot and released the Kanye West produced single “Sociopath” starting what looks to be an album run for 2020. Two days later, the G.O.O.D. Music President hops on the Beats1 radio show with old man Ebro Darden, to reveal and debut a new single “Coming Home” featuring living legend Lauryn Hill. While on air it, Pusha talks about how Hill came to be on the track and that she was actually a big fan of the Virginian rapper.
Pusha-T continued the conversation and told old head Ebro about the true meaning of the song and how it being accompanied by the launch of his new campaign.he announced that he is Starting the Third Strike Campaign, made to combat the injustice and unfairness of the U.S. 3 Strike Drug Law. the 42 year old discusses his partnering up with the Decarceration Collective and also the Buried Alive Project to try and free the people affected by such unfair placed laws. He told the Hot 97 dj Wednesday morning that the goal was for fundraising in order to get money to hire more lawyers for the incarcerated to hopefully get an equal and fair fight for freedom. Pusha tells about how he his visit to the White House with then President Barack Obama, was influential and had a big role in where his campaign and project is today.
Pusha also revealed that as of now the new album is entirely produced by Kanye and there is 9 tracks on there so far, but might change.
