NBA Youngboy drops a new project on his birthday
Louisiana rapper NBA Youngboy celebrated his 23rd birthday on Friday (October 20) with a new DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, Ma' I Got A Family (A Gangsta Grillz Special Edition), hosted by mixtape legend DJ Drama. It is the rapper's 21st mixtape and was released through Never Broke Again, LLC, and Atlantic Records.
The project spawns 19 songs with only two features from Nicki Minaj and breakout artist Yeat. The title is a message to the multi-platinum rapper's mother Sheronda Gaulden, letting her know he is raising a family. The cover art portrays YB and his fiancé Jazlyn Mychelle holding their two kids.
The new project is Youngboy's sixth project of the year, and the second of the month since he dropped 3800 Degrees on October 7.
