Drake says he’s dropping visuals for 21 Savage-assisted “Jimmy Cooks”

Drake hopped on Instagram stories on Friday (October 21) to reveal that he’s delivering the music video for his No. 1 song, “Jimmy Cooks,” with 21 Savage on Saturday (October 22), which is the latter’s 30th birthday. “Jimmy Cooks video dropping Saturday,” Champagne Papi wrote.

The record was released in June as part of his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind. The title is derived from teen drama TV series character Jimmy Brooks.

This announcement comes after the Slaughter Gang boss brought out Drizzy during his performance at Morehouse and Spelman Homecoming Concert Wednesday night (October 19). The duo performed “Jimmy Cooks” and Drake also played “Nonstop.”

“Along with OVO, I really live this 4L shit,” Drake told the crowd at Forbes Arena. “By the way, I didn’t get invited to this show. Nobody from Morehouse asked me to perform. My brother brought me here, so make some noise for 21 Savage.”
