Lil Wayne calls Roc Boys the only worthy opponent in a Verzuz against Cash Money
Lil Wayne views Jay-Z as his greatest and he also thinks his empire Roc-A-Fella is the only match against his side, Young Money and/or Cash Money a Verzuz match. During a recent conversation with former NFL player Marcellus Wiley on his More to It podcast, Weezy was offered to choose from the likes of Death Row, No Limit, Bad Boy, and Quality Control, the right battle opponent for their legendary label(s).
“I would say the best competition, I would have to go with Roc-A-Fella,” the Nola artist replied. “JAY-Z the homie.”
Wayne went on to explain that Jay-Z is the greatest rapper of all time in his eyes, calling him the hip-hop‘s Tom Brady. “The greatest rapper of all time is Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter,” he asserted. “When you do this rapping thing, obviously like football, every sport is different. You play hockey, I’m sure they got something that they only know about. Something that they probably can’t explain, but only they know. That thing in rap, that we only know in rap, he has that. He’s the Tom Brady of that.”
