Nas to set a new Billboard 200 record by a ‘80s and ‘90s rapper
Nas and Hit-Boy released the third installment of their Kings Disease series last Friday (November 11), which is projected to debut at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 with 28K album-equivalent units earned in the first week.
According to a report by Hiphop Numbers, Nasir will be the first artist from the ‘80s & ‘90s to chart four albums released in the 2020s on the Billboard 200. The projects include Kings Disease – No. 5, Kings Disease 2 – No. 3, Magic – No. 27, and Kings Disease 3, which is expected to chart at No. 11.
Other artists from Nas’ era to chart new albums on the Billboard 200 in this decade include Yo Gotti, who has charted 3 new albums, as well as Snoop Dogg, Tech N9ne, Lil Wayne, Alchemist, Eminem, and Jadakiss, who’ve all entered the chart with two new albums each.
