Hit-Boy says he and Nas couldn't find features that could match their energy ‘KD3'
Producer Hit-Boy recently had a conversation on Apple Music's Rap Life Review where he talked his new collab album with Nas, Kings Disease 3. He expounded why the project lacked guest appearance and saw Nas having a solo ride throughout the album.
The Fontana, California producer admitted that he did think of hosting features on the project, and even experimented with a couple of pre-recorded vocals he had in store, but their energy as a duo was just on another level.
“Honestly, it was once we got deeper into the album because I definitely was thinking and conceptualizing on who could be a part of it,” he explained. “I even pulled up some features that I had in my computer from different artists and we tried stuff, but nothing really connected on a level of what we was doing solo. This is, I believe, Nas' first album ever with no features so that's an ill thing in itself.”
