Meek Mill has earned millions from music in a decade

Having dropped his new mixtape Flamerz 5 on Monday (November 21), logged on for a Q/A with his fans. In one of his tweets, Meek revealed that he's bagged $11M in ten years from “just payments.”

“I made 11million dollars in 10 years from music ‘just music payments' I was shocked mad and didn't wanna really for any label,” he wrote. “Now I got a real point to prove to you can survive without getting rapped!”

In another tweet, he claimed that his 2018 collab, “Going Bad,” brought in $24M but his label couldn't explain how much was his cut.

“One day I asked how much “going bad” made just that song…. They said 24m I was like how much did I make? All I got was uhhhhhhh lol im@like wtf I know all the financials to my other lol I signed out lost all trust for that whole system,” he ranted.

Back in July, the Philly rapper said since he landed his record deal in 2014, he's made “11m on records out of like a 100m.”

“I been signed to Atlantic/MMG since 2014 it used to be Warner only made 11m on records out of like a 100m,” he wrote. “I only could drop every 9 months something a lawyer never explained to me and they removed me from all festivals also.”

He added that he's looking to “make that 11 million dollars [with] one project,” which “might be sponsored by a bank or one of my friends.”
