Nas & 21 Savage unite for a surprise collab
Nas and 21 Savage join forces for a brand new single, “One Mic, One Gun,” released on Wednesday (November 30).
Announced just on Tuesday, the record follows 21’s recent comments that Nas is “irrelevant,” even though he still makes “good music.”
On the new song, both rappers address the issue and they seem to be choosing peace.
“When you turn to legend, no such thing as relevance, They must’ve forgot that I’m a new rapper that got integrity, All of the media and blogs, that’s just a place I don’t care to be,” the Atlanta-based rapper raps.
He adds, “I ain’t goin’ against no legend, nigga, I’m tryna be next in line.”
Nas expresses his desire to see 21 and Kodak settle their issues and rep the “South.” Kodak got involved in the 21 and Nas issue and sided with the latter while lighting up the former. “21, Yak’, y’all get together, be big for the South,” he spits in the chorus.
