Thugger slapped with more charges in RICO case
As he awaits trial in the YSL RICO case, Young Thug is being hit with more charges. The Atlanta native is being charged with misdemeanor street racing, reckless driving and speeding, WSB-TV reports. The Punk artist is accused of speeding at 120mph in May.
Brian Steel, Thug’s lawyer, argues that the court isn’t doing the rapper right. “As of two weeks ago, that case was being resolved with a seatbelt violation,” Steel said. “Today, now its indicted in the Fulton County Superior Court. He is being wronged by our system.”
Just recently, prosecutors filed a motion to block video cameras from being used during hearings in the RICO trial that begins January 9. They claimed cameras might jeopardize witness safety and their willingness to cooperate.
