Cole surprises underground producer after spitting bars on his type-beat

is known to be one of the most genuine rappers in and he keeps proving it over and over. The North Carolina native recently hopped on a YouTube type beat created by Beatstar producer Bvtman and laid down a track titled “Procrastination (Broke).” Cole gave the budding producer a go-ahead to put the song out as an appreciation to him and other rising beat-makers.

“On a day when I couldn't find much motivation, I was looking for anything to inspire me. Out of curiosity, I typed in ‘J. Cole type beat' into YouTube. Yours was the first I saw. I pressed play, focused, and wrote this,” the Off-Season artist wrote to the producer.

`

I don't even know if somebody is gonna hear this, got so many songs lost in the endless folders of the hard drive,” J. Cole raps over the mellow instrumental. “I wish I was more fearless cause I just say f*ck it and dump all the for the n**gas that hate it, for the n**gas that use it as fuel to push through the long nights in school, right in the last minute paper in class that's due in the morning, and I still relate to the procrastination of tasks cause I need to finish this album cause hell, how many more times can I sink this wooden pail down in the well and pull it back with the hope that is filled.”
