Tip says the media doesn't focus on the positive side of his son King Harris
T.I. recently sat down for an interview at Club Shay Shay podcast where he spoke about a wide range of subjects including his parenting skills. The Atlanta trap legend discussed how he handles his son King Harris, who has previously found himself in the middle of social media controversy.
The rapper explained that he lets him know that his actions have consequences. “Whatever he going through, I love him through it and I can't say he a great kid enough, but the media don't talk enough about the good part. All they do is focus on the bad because they get more clicks. And I try to make him aware of that,” he described. “You know, we young, we talk about things based on the way we think they should be rather than acknowledging them for how we know they are. So I just try to walk him through and he get better every day.
“And another I'd like to say, I wanna say about King right, as much criticism as that I receive about my son, I would like to shed light on the fact we all got bad a** kids okay man, don't make it seem like I'm the only one who got bad a** kids here. If you ain't got bad a** kids you got one you got lucky ifyou got three or more you got one that you don't know what to do with it.”
