Tory Lanez‘s legal defense files an appeal following the rapper’s conviction in December last year in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. According to TMZ, Tory’s legal team, including lawyer Jose Baez, cited mistakes made during the trial, particularly reliance on irrelevant evidence.
Some of the concerns Tory’s defense raised was the testimony of Meg’s former friend, Kesley Harriss, who changed her narrative while taking the stand in Tory’s trial. Tory Lanez was convicted on ** on charges of carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He will be sentenced on April 10.
