The killing happened earlier this week
As investigations continue in the 2021 killing of Young Dolph, deadly shootings continue to plague the late rapper's hometown of Memphis. Per ABC24 Memphis journalist Ian Ripple, CEO Teezy, a man named as person of interest in Dolph's murder, was fatally shot in the city on Monday afternoon (June 13).
“The shooting happened last night. MPD was searching for a victim but never found one in the area,” Ripple wrote on Twitter. “His body was discovered shortly after noon today.”
Teezy, who was yet to be questioned by the Memphis PD, was of interest along another individual, Devin Burns.
