Judge refuses to rule mistrial in Melly's case
YNW Melly's double-murder case is still ongoing and during a hearing on Friday ( June 16), the Florida rapper and his defense were a little disappointed. According to a report by Law & Crime, the judge denied the defense's motion to rule a mistrial.
The rapper's lawyers filed a motion for a mistrial last week after the mother of Melly's ex-girlfriend Felicia Holmes made a controversial testimony in the court. The defense argued that “the state deliberately put Holmes on the stand to taint the jury and make their client look bad.”
