Tjay shares trailer for new music
Lil Tjay narrowly escaped death when he was shot several times in June 2022 in New Jersey. On Wednesday (June 21), the Bronx rapper shared a teaser for his new song, “June 22nd,” dropping on Thursday to mark the day of the near-deadly shooting.
“Where I'm from, it's nasty. My life always been traumatic. I'm paranoid,” Tjay says in the clip. “I'm very aware of what could happen. You are never going to be able to just control anything ‘cause what's destined for you to happen is going to happen.”
The rapper also revealed that his new album is on the way in the caption.
