Melly’s murder case ended in mistrial
YNW Melly‘s murder case came to an end on Saturday (July 23) after Broward Circuit Judge John Murphy ruled a mistrial. This was after a 12-member jury reached a deadlock and couldn’t return a unanimous verdict. YMW Melly’s mother took to social media shortly after to claim that nine out of the 12 jurors voted not guilty.
“9 not Guilty 3 guilty it was a mistrial my son will be home God is still working,” she wrote on Instagram stories.
Melly was being charged with shooting and killing his two friends YNW SakChaser and YNW Juvy in 2018. The prosecutors will likely go for a mistrial.
