Thug’s lawyer says rapper is having ‘health issues’
Young Thug and co-defendant Yak Gotti appeared in court on Friday (July 21) for a bond hearing, but the judge did not grant them, according to ABC News. This is the fourth time Thug has been denied bond since he was arrested on RICO charges over a year ago.
The Business is Business rapper’s attorney Brian Steele told ABC News that his client is not a flight risk and that he is not in a good health condition. “Mr. Williams is not a risk to commit a crime and he’s not a risk to flee the jurisdiction and that’s what bond is about,” Steele said, adding that Thug is “sleep-deprived.”
