Spice is getting ready to drop her first album
Ice Spice is finally prepared to present her very debut album to the world. During an interview on The Today Show that aired on Tuesday (January 30), the 24-year-old rapper announced that her new album, Y2K, is nearly ready to arrive.
“Yes, there's gonna be an album,” she said, adding, “I'm so excited.” She explained that the title is inspired by her birthday, January 1, 2000. This was a time when there was a widespread dread that the world would end at the beginning of the new millennium.
“It's almost finished. I'm really excited,” Spice continued, before revealing that she had just finished a “crazy” collab: “I have a crazy collaboration that just got locked in two days ago.”
