Chief Keef scores new RIAA certification
Chief Keef earns himself one more platinum certification from RIAA with his smash hit “Faneto.” The record attained the status after selling over 1m copies in the US.
The track was released in 2014 as part of his mixtape, Back From The Dead 2. It's his forth platinum single as his other songs: “I Don't Like,” “Love Sosa” and “Hate Bein' Sober” also reached the milestone in the past.
“Faneto” received widespread acclaim upon its release and was even covered by Drake. Jay-Z also referenced it on “APESHIT,” the lead single from his collab album with Beyoncé, Everything Is Love.
