Smurk says he's changed his lifestyle now
Lil Durk opens up about his struggle with drug addiction and how he addressed the problem. During a recent conversation with TMZ, the 31-year-old explained that due to increasing dependency on Xanax and lean, he had to check into rehab where he got the help he was seeking.
“It helped me a lot,” Smurk said about attending rehab. “I want people to not run from it or be shy from it. It was tough at first but it ain't that tough 'cause I really knew what I wanted. I knew what was holding me back.
“I wanted better. I wanted to be a better man, a better father, a better leader. I'm thinking clearer,” he added. “My main goal is peace, being with the family and staying out of bullshit.”
