Nas’ 13th album ‘King’s Disease’ marks the legendary rapper’s comeback

Share

Nas is back in his bag with a new album produced entirely by Hit-Boy. King’s Disease dropped last Friday (Aug 21). It was released on his Mass Appeal label and has received widely-respected acclaim. Many are relieved the new album managed to out-shine 2018’s Nasir. That album, produced entirely by Kanye West, was pretty-much universally panned with the exception of the track “Adam and Eve” featuring The Dream.

This time around, Nas and Hit-Boy to unify the younger and older generations of rap with features including Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Fivio Foreign, and Lil Durk as well as veterans Charlie Wilson, and The Firm, which includes New York rappers Foxy Brown, Cormega, and AZ. The album is spearheaded by the track “Ultra Black” where Nas breaks down this moment in history for the BLM movement and Black culture at large. Check out King’s Disease here!
