Drake continues to outdo himself, earning gold for Lil Baby-assisted track, “Wants and Needs”
Drake and Lil Baby’s “Wants and Needs” has already sold 500,000 units even without a music video being released. It is now eligible for gold certification. The track is among the three songs featured on Drake’s three-pack EP, Scary Hours 2, released two weeks ago.
Upon its release, all the three tracks on Scary Hours 2 debuted at the top three positions on Billboard Hot 100. “What’s Next,” produced by Supah Mario, debuted at the top of the charts, making it Drake’s eighth number one. The Cardo, Dez Wright, and 40-produced “Wants and Needs,” came at the second position while “Lemonade Pepper” featuring Rick Ross in the third position.

Scary Hours 2 arrived to make way for Drake’s highly-anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy. The album was initially set to be released in January but was delayed as Drake took time to tend to an injured knee that needed healing.
“I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drizzy wrote on Instagram at the time. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January.”
Earlier in the year, DJ Akademiks speculated that CLB would arrive before summer – April. There haven’t been any confirmations of these reports from Drake himself or anyone from his camp.
