Drake’s ‘Take Care’ has now spent 500 weeks on Billboard 200
Drake’s sophomore album Take Care is currently sitting at No. 67 on Billboard 200, marking its 500th week on the chart. In the longest charting rap albums class, the project comes behind Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits, and Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city which have spent 599 and 518 weeks on the chart respectively.
Drizzy unleashed the album in 2011 as a follow up to his debut release, Thank Me Later. The project shot atop Billboard 200 after earning 631,000 sales in the first week.
The critically-acclaimed record featured the Weeknd, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and André 3000. RIAA has since certified the album 6x platinum in the US.
