Tunechi is now a diamond-selling rapper

Lil Wayne’s 2008 megahit “Lollipop” featuring Static Major is officially diamond, making it his first-ever record to reach that breakthrough. The track received the diamond certification from the Recording Industry Of America Association (RIAA) after selling 10M copies across the U.S.

“My first joint to go diamond wowwww!!! Thank you to all my fans and supporters. I Ain’t Sh*t Without Y’all!!! #LongLiveStaticMajor,” Tunechi wrote on Instagram Wednesday (December 14) while celebrating the achievement.

Birdman and Juvenile hopped on the comments to congratulate their Cash Money partner. “Congrats lil bro you deserve it you will always be the greatest rapper in my eyes,” Juve wrote while Baby left an eagle emoji.

“Lollipop” was released as the lead single from the Louisiana icon’s sixth studio album, Tha Carter III, which is currently 8x platinum.
