Crawford welcomes Meg ahead of her Houston show

Megan Thee Stallion has had a rocky relationship with her label 1501 and its CEO Carl Crawford over the past few years, mostly over contract issues. While Meg and Crawford have battled each other in the court, they’ve also pounded each with insults on social media. However, since last month, Crawford has been making public his willingness to settle things with Meg.

On Wednesday (March 29), Crawford took to Instagram to share a lengthy welcome note for Meg ahead of her show in Houston this Friday (March 31). He also praised the Traumazine rapper and hyped up her upcoming album.

“IF YOU THINK YOU SAW MEG PERFORM BEFORE, THINK AGAIN!,” Crawford wrote. “Wait till you see her tear down the stage on Friday as she’s gearing up for this New ALBUM, New WORLD TOUR, and New MOTION!”

He continued: “We look forward to continuing to support our 1501 artist, Megan Thee Stallion, in all of her future endeavors. The 1501 staff is dedicated to a successful and exciting launch of this new project!”
