BlocBoy picked up by police
BlocBoy JB was taken in by the police on drug and gun-related charges after police found him sleeping in his car with the engine running. WREG News Channel 3 reported that the 29-year-old Memphis rapper was found slumped over in his car with one foot on the brake and the other holding a gun on his lap by Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) officers on Tuesday morning (October 1).
His Mazda was reportedly parked at an intersection on North Germantown, for which a search inside the car revealed some marijuana in the possession of the car and also contained in the person.
The 26-year-old, who goes by James Lee Baker in real life, is facing additional charges which include but are not limited to, a convicted felon possessing a firearm charge, possession of marijuana, driving without a license after revocation, and interference with a highway. He has been taken to the Shelby County Jail on a bond of $7,500, and it is noted that his driving license is also suspended. He has not spoken out about these accusations yet.
