Kaalan Walker was found guilty of multiple rape charges in April
Actor & rapper Kaalan Walker, who’s popular for his role in the Superfly movie, has reportedly been hit with 50 years to life behind bars, the Los Angeles Times reports. He was sentenced on Monday (October 17).
Walker, who also goes by KR, was accused of sexually assaulting seven girls, among them three minors, after luring them with promises of modeling gigs on social media.
The 27-year old was found guilty of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape by intoxication in April.
“This was very sophisticated. He picked these girls and he appealed to their dreams and hopes and name-dropped Drake and used his connection to Halle Berry to get these girls somewhere and gain their trust,” District Attorney Cynthia Wallace said after the conviction in April. “Once they were there, it wasn’t about doing photo shoots; it was about assaulting them.”
While being escorted out of the courtroom, an emotional Walker allegedly cried out, “I didn’t rape anybody, your honor!”
