Killa Points to Gelo’s Halftime Performance as the Cause of the Lions’ Elimination

Cam’ron has sparked some controversy by pointing the finger at basketball player-turned-rapper LiAngelo Ball for the Detroit Lions’ shocking playoff loss to the Washington Commanders. Despite the Lions finishing the regular season with a league-best 15-2 record, they suffered a surprising 45-31 defeat after the halftime show, which featured Ball performing his viral hit, “Tweaker.”

In a voice message shared on Instagram, Cam’ron, co-host of It Is What It Is, didn’t hold back his frustration: “Y’all was feeling y’all self and I had y’all back all season. And you know what fucked up everything? Y’all let Gelo Ball perform at halftime.” He went on to suggest that the Lions should’ve booked other Detroit-based artists like Eminem or Big Sean instead, adding, “Y’all n-ggas fucked it all up. And this is the result of it. Sorry.”

Despite the harsh criticism, Cam’ron admitted he enjoys Ball’s music, specifically praising the single “Tweaker” and comparing it to early 2000s Cash Money sounds. However, he remains critical of Ball’s basketball skills and their previous beef.
