Detroit rapper Dej Loaf was born Deja Monét Trimble in 1991. She got her start writing music at age 9 after losing her father five years earlier. She started rapping in 2013 and was a member of XXL’s Freshman Class in 2015.
Her breakout hit “Try Me” was her most successful. She has gone on to work with Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Conway the Machine, and others over the course of her career. Her debut album Sell Sole II dropped in 2020.
