Jadakiss speaks on Big L’s legacy
Jadakiss isn’t happy that people recognized Big L‘s legacy after he died. In a recent interview on Drink Champs, Jada explained that L was a prominent figure in the New York rap scene and that the world should’ve recognized his contribution before he was fatally shot in 1999.
“Big L was the n**ga. I don’t like that they gave him his flowers when he was dead. They should’ve gave him when he was here. But I guess it was too much going on,” Jada said, before recalling a “furious” rap battle between Big L and Styles P in New York before they landed record deals.
“Big L was already famous. Big L was one of the first young dudes to make it,” Jada added.
