Jamie Foxx was hospitalized on Tuesday (April 11) after suffering a “medical emergency,” TMZ reports. The famed singer is reportedly getting better and is even talking to his family. The singer’s condition was “serious” and doctors are still working to determine the exact problem.
On Thursday, Jamie’s daughter Corinne Foxx shared a statement on Instagram confirming that her daddy is getting well. She appreciated support from fans and asked for privacy during these times.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” Corinne wrote, adding, “Much love, The Foxx Family.”
