Electronica has new album on the way

Jay Electronica is getting ready to gift his fans with a new album. On Friday, Hit-Boy shared an Instagram post where Electronica hit the comments urging the Grammy-winning producer not to post his record with Westside Gunn on the feeds.

“Ps, don’t post a snippet of the record you produced for me and @westsidegunn for the intro to my album. (Unless you really want to) (I don’t care if you upload the whole thing as long as it’s on your stories and it disappear in 24 hours),” Electronica’s comment read.

Despite Electronica’s request, Hit-Boy later shared a snippet of the track titled “Best Wishes.” “Best Wishes by @jayelectronica and @westsidegunn produced by me. Elec just text me and said this his intro for the new album [eyes emoji],” Hit-Boy wrote.

Elec later added: “Up in Sax Fifth w a big ole glock laaaawwwwwd.”

Despite breaking out in 2007, Elec has only one album under his belt, A Written Testimony, released in 2020.
