Kanye West appeared at the Jewish-owned uninvited
Kanye West is already out looking for another manufacturer and distributor of his Yeezy footwear after Adidas cut ties with him earlier this week due to his Anti-Semitic rants. TMZ reported that Ye pulled up at Sketchers main headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California Wednesday morning (October 27) without an invitation, in an effort to discuss a partnership with the company’s top leadership.
It’s reported Ye “arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.”
It looks like the Chicago rapper didn’t consider, or didn’t know the company is owned and run by a Jewish family. It was founded by Robert Greenberg and is now led by his son, Michael, who’s its president.
“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West,” a Skechers’ spokesperson said. “We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices.”
