Durk is getting ready to unleash new music with Cole
Lil Durk gives his fans a brief taste of the highly-anticipated collaboration with J. Cole, “All My Life.” On Tuesday (May 2), Durk hopped on Instagram to share with his over 14M followers a snippet of the forthcoming record in a clip from the song’s video shoot set. He also promised to reveal the cover and release date for his next album, The Voice 2.0, if the post received 100K comments.
“Lately I just wanna show up and body some shit, yeah, yeah, Always been a lil’ mathematician, lately it’s cash I’m gettin’, I’m losin’ count of these bags, I been movin’ too fast, Hard times don’t last, ‘member when cops harassed,” J. Cole raps.
In the chorus, Durk spits with melody: “All my life, They been tryna keep me down, All this time, They thought I wouldn’t make it out, They try to break me, they try to break me, They try to take me, they try to take mе.”
Durk first teased the track earlier this year and later revealed that it is produced by Dr. Luke.
